Across the country Talented entrepreneurs are ready to invest in their communities

The Build from Within Alliance is a collaboration of community development organizations with a shared commitment to neighborhood-based, low-income, entrepreneur development in our respective communities.

We work together to learn, improve, elevate, and scale a model that improves community wellbeing by encouraging resident entrepreneurship. We work primarily in low-income neighborhoods of color that have long suffered intentional and racist disinvestment.

The goals, operating principles, and activities of the alliance are guided by its invited members. Members are nonprofit organizations that have established roots, trust, and connection with their respective communities. They bring their specific knowledge of ethical neighborhood revitalization to the alliance and help to inform our work and scale our model.
